Wafer Check Valve is also called reflux valve, backpressure valve and one way valve. This type of valves is opened and closed by the force of the flow of media through the pipe. It's an automatic valve. They are widely applied in petroleum, chemical, textile, power, marine, metallurgy, etc.

Wafer Check Valve is made up by body, plate, stem, and spring etc. Use wafer, flange, lug connection. Because its structure length is shorter than the general check valve, it is most suitable for places with limited installation space. Plate has short closing stroke with can significantly reduce water hammer pressure.
